One rainy afternoon, a high school boy wakes up shivering on the street with no memory of how he ended up there. His classmate-and secret crush-Karen Inukai finds him and brings him back to her place. To his shock, she begins undressing, seemingly ready to bathe with him, though he can’t understand why. When she pulls him close again, he catches his reflection in the mirror and realizes the truth: he’s turned into a dog. Inukai takes him in as her pet, naming him Pochita. Now stuck in this bizarre situation, he tries to adapt to life as a dog while searching for a way to turn back.
